The History of Video Game Consoles
This was a personal project I created along with my husband. The booklet shows a brief history of video game consoles from 1967 to the present. The main challenge was to organize the content in a clear and logical manner with a fresh cohesive look.
The History of Video Game Consoles
The booklet format is 8.5 X 5.5 inch with twenty-eight pages. The booklet covers seven generations with each generation represented by a colour.
The Decemberists Gig Poster
Folklore and historical events have a heavy presence in The Decemberists’ music. For this poster I was inspired, not only by The Decemberists, but by The Brothers Grimm story "The Frog King" and the fashion of kings during the 1910s.
Raise Society Identity
The RAISE Society is a non-profit Canadian organization dedicated to assisting families and community members using research-based support for Autism. A logo, business card, letterhead and tri-fold brochure were created for a competition during school.
Silver Cloud Fine Tea Company
This website was created in school for a mock tea company. The website shows the tea products and also gives clients information about tea. The website allows clients to navigate quickly to each section from each page with quick links.
Vegetaria, Vegetarian Cuisine
This is a sample of a vegetarian website that provides recipes for vegetarian dishes.
I wanted this website to have a fun, vivid look.
Edward Scissorhands Movie Poster
This poster was inspired by the movie, Edward Scissorhands. Instead of focusing on the characters in the film, I focused on the unique environment of the colorful suburbs contrasting with the dark castle. The houses` colours are actually the same colour scheme in the movie.
Modest Mouse Album Cover
My take on the album cover for Modest Mouse’s “We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank” was inspired by the lyrics and concept of the album as well as stop motion animation.
